How do you schedule social media posts?
Short answer
You schedule social media posts by choosing the channels and a time for each post, or by preparing a series of posts ahead for a week or month. In PrimaSocial you do this in Posts & planning: you write a post yourself or have PrimaSocial create draft posts that appear in the calendar, and a team member can approve a post first.
How it works
Connect your channels
Go to Connect channels and click Connect next to a channel, for example Connect Instagram. Log in to the channel and grant permission; you are then returned to PrimaSocial automatically. An owner or admin can connect channels.
Write a post
In the menu, go to Posts & planning, tick the channels you want and write the message text. Want the post to bring in leads? Link a funnel with Add funnel link. Instagram does not accept a post without an image: for Instagram, choose a funnel that has an image.
Schedule or post straight away
Choose a moment under Schedule, or click Post now. Scheduled posts appear in the calendar.
Schedule several posts ahead
Switch on Plan multiple posts ahead and choose a week or month, the frequency per week, the start date and the channels. Tick Add AI images if you want images created automatically, then click Generate drafts.
Adjust the drafts
The draft posts appear in the calendar. Open a draft to adjust it before it is posted.
Get approval and schedule the series
Want a draft checked first? Click Submit for approval; another owner or admin approves or rejects it. How many team members you can add depends on your subscription. When everything is right, click Schedule all: only then are the drafts actually scheduled.

Which channels can I schedule posts for?
Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X and YouTube. TikTok and YouTube are video only.
Can I have posts approved first?
Yes. You submit a draft post for approval and a team member with the owner or admin role approves or rejects it. This requires a second owner or admin in your team; how many team members you can add depends on your subscription.
Does it also work without AI, with my own photos or videos?
Yes. You write the message text yourself in Posts & planning. You post your own video via New video post, and on a draft in the calendar you can upload your own photo via Choose from library.
